The Beginning of New Adventure: Part 2 (Moving to South Korea)

I'll spare you the boring details about packing and storing all my stuff, which I have WAY too much of by the way. Suffice it to say I only brought about 5% of the stuff I own with me. ~~~~~ Six weeks from the time I applied for the job, I was leaving for South Korea. On March 10, 2018, I got on a plane. On March 11, I set foot in South Korea for the first time. (Side note: I was super lucky on both planes I took. I sat next to a couple really cool people :) ~~~~~ I was instructed to call my recruiter from the airport, to ensure I had landed safely, and then take a bus from the airport to my city. Short story: I tried using a kiosk to get my bus ticket but they didn't have the location I needed on the list, even though the stop for it was literally right outside the door by the kiosk... The Beginning of a New Adventure: Part 1 (How it Happened)

Well if you didn't know yet that I moved, then now you do :) Here's how it happened: On January 3, 2018, I started an online certification course to teach English as a foreign language. The website I was using has a job board that pulls from multiple sites, so it's a pretty comprehensive list of all the available jobs to teach English all over the world. So a few weeks after starting the course, I decided to start browsing the job boards. There was so much available that it was overwhelming. So I narrowed it down to Asia and housing provided, which led me to discover that South Korea not only has the highest demand for Native English Speaking teachers, but they also have the best overall benefits. And thus, my obsession with Korean Dramas and K-Pop was about to become something more.
